In the third quarter of 2021, the top cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Peru experienced varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.3K in late June and peaking at over 6.7K by mid-September. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing from approximately 33.9K to 38.4K throughout the quarter.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with around 664 and reaching a high of 4.1K by mid-September. The app's weekly active users increased notably from about 3.5K to 12.5K over the same period.

Buenbit displayed impressive growth in weekly downloads, starting with 109 in early August and surging to 9.4K by the end of September. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, climbing from 75 to nearly 10.9K within the quarter.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether maintained a consistent level of weekly downloads, with figures hovering around 764 in late June and slightly increasing to 1.5K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users showed a steady increase from approximately 14.6K to 16.6K during this period.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet saw moderate growth in weekly downloads, starting at 592 and peaking at 1.3K in late July. Weekly active users demonstrated a stable trend, ranging from around 9.6K to 13.4K throughout the quarter.
